The same thing has happened to me today as well. Also a long-time Blackberry user and been with GiffGaff for several years with no problems. I tried the sim in another phone and had the same problem so it looks like they are blocking it. Am part-way through a goody-bag, which I regularly renew. So am flummoxed as to why it has happened.

Thinking it was my elderly SIM card I got a new one. Again no network, with Emergency Calls Only alternating with Device Not Allowed MM#6. As the phone wasn't new when I got it, and had a cracked screen I found a brand new Q5 on eBay, still sealed. After going through the setup, the new Q5 is showing the same message. i recently fix a blackberry bold 9900 as i was locked out of it now problem is there is no service on phone just says at the top of the phone where network provider should it says -'phone not allowed MM6- i put a new o2 sim into also a vodafone, giff gag and tmobile all say the same how do i sort this thanks .
